While at bridal market last month, I made a point of stopping into the headquarters of the hottest new purveyor of eye glasses, Warby Parker, in SoHo.  Located in the historic Puck Building, their space is akin to entering an Apple store.  Greeted by a Warby Parker team member and LOTS of people trying on glasses and purchasing them in multiples, I had the irresistible urge to buy a pair of glasses for every day of the week!

Launched by a group of close friends in response to costly eye wear AND a desire to offer fashionable glasses, Warby Parker has struck a cord with the public.  Following the TOMS shoes business model, for every pair of glasses sold, Warby Parker donates a pair to someone in need, hence, eye wear with a purpose.  Aesthetically, Warby Parker describes their glasses as "vintage-inspired with a contemporary twist."  The glasses are fashionable and the quality is phenomenal.  At $95 a pair, one can afford to indulge in multiple pairs!

The pair of Limited Edition glasses I purchased (same price as the others); however, for every "Pencils & Promise" pair of glasses sold, Warby Parker buys school supplies for needy kids.  Love it!

AND the good news is Warby Parker is making a road trip to DC; in fact, their tour bus is in town this weekend!
